The milk used comes from cows in the meadows, the cheeses are then matured between 2 to 3 months while the cheese is smoked on a wooden mixture, specially designed for this cheese. The resulting cheese has a soft-creamy flavour combined with natural smoky smell and taste. This is a unique Dutch cheese that you must try.

Suggested Wine Pairing: Syrah/Shiraz or Grenache. The smoked flavours of the cheese go great with a spicy and peppery Syrah/Shiraz or Grenache.
