Our second Belgian cheese on the menu is just as special as our Chimay Grand Cru. The Antwerp Pikantje is a spicy semi-hard cheese with a spicy, edible crust. During production, the soft-creamy cheese is rubbed and blended with a variety of spices and herbs, making this cheese a must-try.
Ingredients: Fat 48+, pasteurised cow's milk, rennet, salt, lactic acid, eg, spicy herb mix, garlic, tomato, paprika, onion, chillies, jalapeno, pepper, cumin, parsley, oregano
Suggested Wine Pairing: Due to the cheese’s spiced and herbal flavours, it would pair greatly with a slightly sweet wine like a Gewurztraminer or a Riesling.
